You’re more than welcome to post in multiple publications. Some content won’t be right for us and if it isn’t we’ll let you know. You’re free to publish wherever you like. The only thing is that Medium only allows a piece to be in one publication at a time, just so you’re aware. That said, if you publish with us and want to remove your piece, you’re free to do so at any time. We ask that you give us a heads up but that’s just a courtesy, it’s not mandatory. You’re definitely not locking yourself down. Any publication that tells you you are is lying to you and perhaps steer clear of them.
